TennCan had a great day Saturday at Nashville's Earth Day Festival in Centennial Park!

Many thanks to the several hundred folks who stopped by, asked questions and signed up to volunteer; huge thanks to volunteers Susan Appelt, Roseanna Newton and Paul Davis (and the emergency tent sent-up crew from Metro Parks); and especially thanks to the dozens of youngsters who tried their hand running a redemption center. Together they raised some $30 in "pretend donations" to their schools and other favorite charities!

Jake Whittenburg nailed the redemption process; volunteers Roseanna Newton and Marge Davis cheered him on.
